September Community Creation Event

  • High Low - Listening Room 3301 Washington Avenue St. Louis, MO, 63103 United States (map)

World Percussion

We invite youth and adults in recovery from Substance Use Disorder (and their families) to join our vibrant creative community to laugh and play with us.

World percussion is dynamic and engaging music that celebrates the rich diversity of global rhythmic traditions. These ensembles typically feature a wide array of percussion instruments from different cultures, including African djembes, Latin American congas, Middle Eastern darbukas, and Indian tablas, among others. By blending these distinct sounds, a world percussion ensemble can create complex and captivating educational and entertaining rhythms.

A light meal will be served!
